The power and the might of Rock....

To start posting on this Blog, I decided to do something different. While most bloggers, start by typing in there settings and afterwards some comments or even small biographies of themselves or why the blog was created...I instead, will start with an open essay to anyone, the whole ideas of the following essay and all the essays that will be posted in the future, are personal beliefs and copyrighted by me.

What is rock?

What the hell are you talking about? This is the answer you will get if you ask someone what is rock…Rock is a music genre! Everyone knows that, but is it something else for some people?

Yes. Rock is not just a type of music, it is a way of living….For me, I don’t listen to a song, cause I like it’s rhythmic or music background. Of course they play major role, in the selection of a song but it is up to the lyrics to do the job....When I listen to any song, I try to find what the song is all about! What does the singer and the rest of the band trying to express and reveal as a vision to the listener. Songs from bands like Rhapsody and Blind Guardian, always produce images of their tales. Visions of fantasy worlds, full of adventures and danger, worlds were battles between good and evil are raging…Thanks to them, I can escape my everyday boring life! When I feel like I want to kill everyone around me, I simple tune-up a song such “Warriors” of Manowar and let it help me relax and express my feelings in a more “peaceful” and not so bloody way! I ‘m using songs to express my feelings, I choose what song to hear, by heart. I don’t think anymore like “I feel this way, so I should choose this”. I simple choose it! Lyrics of songs, like “I believe”, “Knightridder of Doom”, “Watching over me”, “Emerald Sword”, “The Bard’s song –In the forest” and “Melancholic” are feeling my mind. They give me courage, hope and getting me lost, inside the labyrinths of my own mind. Rock is not just a type of genre, it is a way to express my emotions, to understood what I feel in a much better way, to escape this boring, unpleasant and unfair life…Rock is simple me, a part of me…So all I can say to any reader is that:

“For Those who are about to Rock, we salute them!”
